I'm not just "on the road" I'm also attending the Search Engine Workshop in Seattle. If you've never been in this kind of learning environment, it's absolutely electric. The energy in the room is a wonder to experience. The students are learning everything about organic SEO, PPC, HTML and CSS. There's tips on marketing, redirects, spidering, indexing and linking. Complete white hat strategies from beginners to advanced. Search Engine Workshops ==> http://www.cdzn.com/sew I also found out some really good news, the Workshops will be going virtual. I don't have any dates yet, but Robin Nobles and John Alexander have let me in on a few secrets. Pretty soon everyone will be able to take an SEO Workshop online, at a fraction of the cost of attending a seminar... but we'll chat about that more in the future. In the mean time, let's get on with the show. - - - - - How to Build LOTS of AdSense Revenue Sites Really Stinkin' Fast Up until now I've been recommending XSite Pro for Windows (Rapidweaver for the Mac) for all types of web sites. But if your goal is to make AdSense revenue sites, there's a whole new ball game starting today. Having been on the web since '94, it's hard to get excited about new products and services. Most of it is a rehash of ideas. Most of it is too hard to do. Most of it takes too long. Rarely do people stick with something long enough... but yet they keep buying stuff they never use. That's why I ran a survey in May 2006... to find out what you want. Over 60% of you wanted to know more about building article content sites. Over 52% of you wanted to generate AdSense revenue. Up until now, we've been getting 400 articles per month from Article Underground (800 per month if you're like me and buying both sets). You then sort through the articles to find enough to make a niche site, modify the articles to your taste, and fire up XSite Pro or Rapidweaver to make the sites. The only problem is... the sites can take a while to build. You also need to paste your AdSense code into the places that Michael Cheney's AdSense videos suggest, for maximum revenues. Cheney's AdSense Videos ==> http://www.cdzn.com/av But don't get me wrong. I still plan on using Rapidweaver and it's hundreds of plug-in templates to create pretty affiliate sites. (You can do the same thing with XSite Pro on Windows, but you don't get as many templates.) The surprising thing I did do, was go out and buy a brand new dual-boot Mac running Intel chips. I then bought and installed a copy of Windows XP! So why would a die hard Mac fan install Windows? Why blow three grand on a new computer and another 300 for Windows? For a single piece of software my friends. You see... once I saw the video, I was convinced. This new software is the easiest way to build AdSense revenue sites. Sites that can get a 50% click rate on the ads. Yep, you read that right... a 50% click rate. So the first part of the process will remain the same. A little market research. Cleaning and rewording the articles a bit... then launching my new secret weapon... The SEO smArticle. Hey, don't expect any hard sell here. No superlative words. Not a scratch of hype. The way I figure is that you're smarter than that, and it's just not my style. I'm just telling you in plain English, that I plan on using this software myself, every day, for the rest of my AdSense sites. It's the fastest site builder that I've used. By the time (brand name html editor) can open and let you set up a project, I can have a 20 page site built with SEO smArticle, including all the AdSense code in all the right places. And like I mentioned before, the fellows who made this software, and designed the templates, are getting very high click percentages. This software eliminates all the guess work. Once you've got your articles ready to go, just fill out 10 fields on the first screen of the software. Click a button and your website is finished. It really is that simple. The way I see it, this software is a * perfect compliment * to the Article Underground membership. It's the missing piece. The AU gives us the first step of the process with the PLR articles, and the third step with the blog network, for incoming links and traffic. The SEO smArticle provides the middle ground, so you can set up AdSense revenue sites really stinkin' fast. Get 400 Articles a Month ==> http://www.cdzn.com/au Originally they were going to keep this software quiet and under wraps. Then they decided to sell it as real "high end" merchandise so only the elite could afford it. Finally, after much negotiation, dirt flinging and camel trading... they've agreed to bring it to the public at an affordable price... sort of. Actually, the only way you can get SEO smArticle, for at least the next week is through me. This is an exclusive offer for readers of the Internet Marketing Secrets newsletter. Not only that, I managed to squeeze them for a discount. So if you're looking for a fast way to make ASFAR (article sites for AdSense revenue), and my survey said that 60% of you are... then this software is a dream come true. It solves a problem. It saves you time. And it makes you money. Rarely does something come along these days that does all three... and that really is something to get excited about. But remember, the discount is available only for one week. That's not hype. That's the best I could do after some pretty tough wrangling. So take advantage of this exclusive offer, because if you wait, it will cost more. Not only that, you'll also loose what you could have made if you had started sooner. So don't hesitate to get SEO smArticle, and start building as many sites as you want. SEO smArticle for AdSense Sites ==> http://www.cdzn.com/ace And remember, I was so impressed that I bought a brand new computer and Windows XP, just so I could run this software. I'm not worried though, as I know I'll make double that amount back in just a few weeks. - - - - - Tag and Ping Gets Automated Anything that can be automated usually is. Sometimes it takes years, this time it took only weeks. Hot on the heals of the Tag and Ping social networking phenomena comes Tag Automator, the next generation of Tag and Ping. The software is by a company called Novasoft, which you may recall also created the Niche Portal Builder software. This is truly industrial strength automation. It does all the grunt work for you... and if you've been doing any kind of tagging in social networks, you know how much work it was... until now. I'm not going to say a whole lot about it, as you might be reading the sales page in just a few seconds. But like most things these days, it is a monthly membership site and it's limited to just 200 members. So it may be gone by the time you read this... (Which is a major reason why you should keep an eye on my blog. To get the latest breaking news before the regular Internet Marketing Secrets newsletter... and before anyone else. ;-) Anyways, if you're at all interested in automating your Tag and Ping process, I suggest you grab Tag Automator straightaway. It will go fast. And may already be gone. So don't wait to click this one, ok? Quick Grab the Tag Automator ==> http://www.cdzn.com/ta - - - - - Blogomatix "Enhanced" Blogging Software Speaking of automating, here's another one of those "super bloggers" that allows you to set up hundreds of blogs and post to them all automatically. It posts, it pings, it manages content. Just feed it a few articles and it does the rest. You can set up unlimited blogs on a single domain name. Some search engines have been known to "gobble up" these subdomains, especially when there's keywords in them. It features dynamic templates, random posts, tang and ping support, Google sitemaps and RSS on every blog. Plus it has search engine friendly "table-less" design using CSS. If you retain a starched "white hat" SEO policy, then Blogomatix is probably not for you. But if you want to set up and manage an army of blogs, then it just might be what you're looking for. Remember, it's just a tool, it's up to you how you use it. Blogomatix for Super Blogging ==> http://www.cdzn.com/bmx - - Adv - - New to Internet Marketing? Question: You seem to be endorsing a lot of black hat products in recent months. Are you still the same guy who wrote Nothing but 'Net back in 1999, or are you becoming more jaded over the years? Answer: Ha ha LOL :-) I don't wear hats... but if I did it would be a "Green Hat" because anything and everything has the right to get announced in this newsletter. If it's newsworthy... who am I do judge HOW someone intends to use a product? And just a little sidebar... I invented the doorway page, years before it had that name. I invented commercial announcements into the newsgroups. I invented cross linking. All of which are now considered "dark grey" hat tactics... so for the record... I've never been a little angel. (Although I do keep a halo in the closet in case of emergency.) ;-) I don't approve, condone or condemn the products or what people do. It's my job to report on them, to get the word out. I'm simply a conduit of information. How people choose to run their business... is none of mine. Sheesh! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to put my "clear" thinking hat on, and get back to writing about more important matters. - - - - - How Many Domain Names Do You Need? Question: It seems to me like the trend is to stick with one AdSense site per domain name. For instance, topics like weddings, gardening or acne. I just registered a generic domain name, and my thinking is to have only one information site to manage all my articles from Article Underground. Am I headed down the wrong road with this? Am I incorrect in my thinking? Your advice would be appreciated! Answer: Technically yes, one domain "could" do. And yes, you could arrange your topics by subdomains or by directories. The down side is putting all your eggs in one basket, so to speak. People like Michael Cheney do very well with 10 or so domains. Even if the search engine algos change, saturation (how many pages they index) fluctuates, seasonal variations, or other unforeseen factors, you'll always have more than one site, or revenue stream working for you. So I would say... go look at Yahoo and see what their "top level" categories are, and arrange your article sites in a similar fashion. They have autos, finance, games, health, shopping, sports, tech, travel, etc. Each one of these would make an excellent topic for a "generic" article site. What you want to avoid is having things like finance and health on the same site. Keep the topics somewhat related and you can create a theme based site. Remember, a tight theme with articles makes your site an authority on the topic. People will "naturally" want to link to you, which search engines like. :-) Then you can break down each theme site into further subdomains or directories, letting the article content guide you as to where it should be filed. If you need more ideas, go to Yahoo and click on the health link... you'll find the most popular sub categories listed there. - - - - - One of My Favorite Affiliate Program$ Question: I have read your words and bought your books since Nothing but 'Net days, which shows I have always trusted you. So I have taken your advice and joined the Article Underground. (Mike Liebner is a really helpful guy and his videos are so useful.) I am putting articles on my "Play the Drums" website and linking from the blogs. I've also written a "How to drum manual." But being a working guy with a family, I haven't had time to finish the site, any suggestions to help out a busy dad? Answer: You have the foundation for a nice looking site. Adding articles to it and announcing it using the Article Underground will surely bring visitors, but you need to monetize that traffic. In addition to creating your own product - which you mention - you'll also want a way for people to give you their contact information, so you can follow-up with them. I'd also put some ads across the top and in the middle of the articles, along with some affiliate program links. Follow-Up With Customers ==> http://www.cdzn.com/aws It would be nice if people could buy entire drum sets or individual pieces from your site. (The people at music123.com have an excellent affiliate program. They allow you to link directly to their individual product pages, so it's easy to talk about something and link directly to it.) In addition, since yours is a site for beginners, it would be really cool to have a picture of each drum, what it's name is, and what sound it makes. (You could even have it make the sound when they click on the picture.) While you're at it, you could feature other kinds of percussion tools. Hand drums and latin percussion instruments are very popular. They are also very affordable, making them an easy source of affiliate revenue. And finally... I'll let you in on a little secret... of all the affiliate categories that I've ever promoted, music gear has always been a favorite of mine, and always finishes in my top three revenue generators. - - - - - Do You Really Need HTML Skills To Make Money Online? Question: I've signed up for a few affiliate programs but never really followed through with them. I keep telling myself that I need to learn one more thing, like how to create a landing page. I know how to copy source code from someone else's site and tweak it for my own use, but I would rather learn from a course. Let me know which one you feel is best for someone that wants to create a lot of niche sites. Answer: I wrote about that in the last newsletter. Scroll down the blog posts and you'll find a recent one comparing what's better... learning html, Mini Site Creator or XSite Pro. IMS Blog ==> http://homepage.mac.com/dmcorp/ That said, I really don't think that you need to learn html (for landing pages) and the like. Go to Mozilla.org and pick up a free copy of SeaMonkey (formerly known as Mozilla Suite). Then just start poking at it... don't be afraid of it... it's just software... it doesn't have feelings. SeaMonkey ==> http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/ Treat it like a word processor. Type words into it. Make text center and bold. Drag in a few photos. Select some text, click the link tool and type in an url. There you have it... a web page. Then if you really want to see the "code" click the "view source" tab and look at the html hiding under the page. Or, if the thought of doing it yourself makes you nervous, just use a site builder like XSite Pro to do all the code for you. Pick a template. Type in some words. Click a few buttons and you're done. Sure makes life easier. In addition, there's the new SEO smArticle. It's not a replacement for XSite Pro, Rapidweaver, or learning html. What it does is highly specialized. It makes AdSense revenue sites out of articles. It gets the job done fast and gets a really high click rate on the ads. But in the end its up to you. If you want to learn html code from an instructor led course, the least painful way is Jim Edwards' Mini Site Creator. The fastest way... like within days of watching your first video, get XSite Pro.
